About the Metheors
Our Story
We are a team of like-minded individuals who have come from all different walks of life across different parts of the world. While we have come to find that there are many similarities between us, what united us at first was a shared interest in not only entering the Metaverse space, but making an impact on it. With the current Metaverse space being flooded with new projects and derivatives left and right, we understand how challenging it can be to differentiate ourselves from the rest. However, under our Lead Artist Diego Zanelli, we have spent a lot of time coming up with ways to stand out and execute our ideas in a truly unique fashion, and we believe that this is well-reflected within our artwork.
While our team is small and international, we view this as one of our greatest strengths. Not only does it allow us to have a diverse range of perspectives and skills, it also gives us the opportunity to be working actively on our project at various points throughout the entire day. We are also a close-knit group, brought together by a shared passion to see our project thrive and leave a mark on both the virtual and physical worlds. To do so, we have spent a lot of time reflecting on ourselves as individuals and as a project, and developing a shared vision that we could all get behind. Our Vision
When developing our concrete vision, we had three main points come to mind- all primarily centered around our art. First, we wanted to be a project with unique art that will age well as the Metaverse continues to develop. We wanted to capture the potential of the Metaverse’s future by creating a collection of characters that look like they are from the future themselves. We believe that this, along with the tremendous effort and care that goes into uniquely crafting each NFT, will do wonders to make the METHEORS a stand out project. Second, we had a strong desire to focus on the longevity of our project and community. While we cannot disclose too much information just yet, we have high hopes that our community will be motivated to collect and trade our characters, and continuously look forward to our plans for Metaverse utility. Finally, we wanted to use our art as a tool to help better our planet. This led us to our innovative idea of using our art and project as a platform for environmental philanthropy, with the goal of continuously supporting a range of charities that focus on environmental protection and restoration. We love our planet, and are motivated to make this project a successful one so that we can provide as much support as possible to organizations that aim to make Earth a better place for all forms of life.
We hope that the above information helps paint a clear picture of what we are, and what we are not. At this time, we have no intention of creating a DAO, liquidity pool, or tokenization platform/economy. Value will not be returned in the form of floor sweeps, shared royalties or passive income. Instead, our value will be in the exceptional quality and appeal of our MetaVerse-ready PFPs/avatars and their utility, the platforms with which we will partner, and the exclusive access our members will have to ongoing collaborations, events, and digital spaces.

Sergi GonzAlvez GonzAlez

Hailing from Barcelona, Sergi brings a background in biotechnology and science and a passion for the environment to the MΞTHΞORS team. Sergi and Diego Zanelli lead an innovative project that aims to align the NFT community with environmental preservation and restoration. Being a self-taught master of graphic design, content creation, and video editing, Sergi works closest with Diego to execute the vision they both shared through the utilization of cutting-edge 3D technology and specialized equipment and resources. Sergi is responsible for areas of the MΞTHΞORS graphic design, management of overall operations, and acting as an advisor to Diego throughout the creation of each of our project’s hand-crafted pieces.
Co-Founder and Lead Artist
Diego Zanelli
Originally from Venezuela, Diego is the main designer of the MΞTHΞORS and a passionate concept designer whose style can be described as Dark Ambient Sci-Fi. With over half a decade's worth of experience in art and design, his work ranges from video game and character design to digital sculptures, to avant-garde jewelry. Inspired by a Bible verse that Diego credits for his concept creation as an artist: "Death Has Been Defeated" (Revelations 20:14), Diego has partnered with Sergi Gonzalez, developing a strong vision and desire to create art that can showcase both the Darkness and Light found in life, with the hopes that the art will outlast us all and be around for many years to come. Currently, Diego lives in Colombia where he founded Chest Cavity Studios, focused on 3-d jewelry design and expanding his portfolio as an Independent Artist.
Head of Digital Advertising/Strategy
Matthew McKeon
Matthew has spent most of his professional career working for the world’s largest Amazon seller as a Digital Advertiser. His role includes strategizing, implementing, and optimizing digital campaigns for large CPG clients as well as smaller emerging brands to grow their digital presence and execute on their goals. He is looking forward to translating his knowledge and experience of digital marketing to help grow MΞTHΞORS brand awareness within the industry and deliver best in class user experience to all its members through strategic planning and execution.
Operations, Planning, and Collaborations
Josh Vajda
Josh is a revenue operations and enablement expert with more than 20 years of experience building scalable, data-driven frameworks to guide go-to-market strategies, team development, and sales process improvement in Fortune 500 and scaling tech companies alike. Josh is responsible for establishing MΞTHΞORS ongoing operating framework and coordinating collaborations, partnerships, holder value and revenue opportunities.

With a Master’s degree in Psychology and a career in Human Resources, Joe is someone with strong interest in understanding how people think, and applying that insight towards organizational efficiency. Proven through his experiences and success working for renowned companies such as Bloomingdale’s, Scotiabank (Global Banking & Markets), and a confidential Media start-up company headed by a billionaire real-estate mogul and political activist, Joe has a knack for identifying what makes an organization tick. This insight has helped him understand how to push organizations past their limits, which he actively applies towards helping the MΞTHΞORS grow and succeed. His roles include bringing new and passionate talent onboard, working closely with Sergi, Diego, and the team to strategize operational aspects of the project, and expanding upon the lore, backstory, and vision of the world that the founders have created.
Blockchain Developer
Anthony Romagnolo

Coming from a background in both Physics and Full-stack Development, Anthony is taking his talents to the world of blockchain technology. Currently, he works as a Blockchain Developer for a startup cryptocurrency company, and his roles include smart contract development for NFTs, ERC 20 tokens, Web and Mobile Development as well as blockchain research. He spends his free time researching new trends and concepts within the metaverse, and writes weekly articles that cover different areas of cryptocurrency, blockchains, and the metaverse in order to make this information more easily accessible to the general public. Anthony is very eager to use his knowledge and skill to help the MΞTHΞORS become more than just another NFT project, and thrive in the metaverse as it evolves over time.
